History & Background

For years, luxury brand lovers in Bali only had two choices: pay full price at hotel boutiques, or fly to Singapore/Bangkok to shop at premium outlets.

Both changed when Mitsubishi Estate Co., Ltd. — Asia's most successful premium outlet operator — decided to make Bali the location for their next project. Bersama PT Bali Turtle Island Development (BTID), they established a 50:50 joint venture to build Grand Outlet Bali within the Kura Kura Bali Special Economic Zone.

Official groundbreaking was held in July 2024, marking the start of construction on the USD 100 million project that will transform the retail landscape of Bali — and Indonesia.
